Garlic Noodles
Ingredients:
8 oz (about 225g) spaghetti or linguine noodles
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional, adds depth of flavor)
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Chopped green onions or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Cook the spaghetti or linguine noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet or frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the olive oil and minced garlic. Cook, stirring constantly, until the garlic is fragrant and just beginning to brown, about 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
Add the cooked noodles to the skillet. Toss to coat the noodles evenly with the garlic butter mixture.
Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), sugar, and black pepper. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until everything is well combined and heated through.
Remove from heat and transfer the garlic noodles to a serving dish.
Garnish with chopped green onions or parsley, if desired.
Serve hot as a delicious side dish or add grilled chicken, shrimp, or vegetables to make it a main course.
