Steak fajitas are a classic favorite, filled with flavor and sizzle! Perfect for any occasion, these fajitas are made with marinated steak, colorful bell peppers, and a savory blend of seasonings. Serve them in warm tortillas with your favorite toppings for a meal everyone will love!

Ingredients:
For the Marinade:
1 ½ lbs flank or skirt steak, thinly sliced

3 tbsp olive oil

Juice of 2 limes

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp chili powder

½ tsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Fajitas:
1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 yellow bell pepper, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 onion, sliced

Warm flour tortillas (or corn tortillas, if preferred)

Instructions:
1️⃣ Prepare the Marinade:

In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, ground cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

Add the thinly sliced steak to the marinade and toss until well coated.

Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to marinate (you can also marinate for up to 2 hours for more flavor).

2️⃣ Cook the Steak:

Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.

Remove the steak from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off.

Cook the steak in the hot skillet for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness (medium-rare is recommended for fajitas).

Remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside to rest.

3️⃣ Sauté the Vegetables:

In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers and onion. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are softened and slightly caramelized.

Season with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.

4️⃣ Assemble the Fajitas:

Slice the cooked steak against the grain into thin strips.

Add the steak back into the skillet with the peppers and onions, tossing everything together to combine.

5️⃣ Serve:

Warm the tortillas in the skillet for a few seconds, or wrap them in a damp paper towel and microwave for about 20-30 seconds.

Serve the sizzling steak and vegetable mixture in the warm tortillas.

Top with your favorite toppings such as sour cream, guacamole, shredded cheese, salsa, or a squeeze of lime.

Serving Suggestions:
Serve with a side of Mexican rice or refried beans for a complete meal.

Add a drizzle of hot sauce or chipotle crema for extra flavor!

Enjoy these sizzling, flavorful steak fajitas that are sure to be a hit at your dinner table! 🌯🔥
