Creamy Swiss Chicken Bake

Creamy Swiss Chicken Bake
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 tablespoon dried parsley (optional)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Directions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Prepare Chicken:
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Arrange them in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
Make the Sauce:
In a medium bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk. Mix until smooth and well blended.
Add Cheese:
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.
Top the Chicken:
Pour the cream mixture over the chicken breasts, making sure they are evenly coated.
Add Swiss Cheese:
Sprinkle the shredded Swiss cheese evenly over the top of the chicken and sauce.
Prepare Topping:
In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, melted butter, and dried parsley (if using). Mix until the breadcrumbs are coated with butter.
Add Breadcrumb Topping:
Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the Swiss cheese layer.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the topping is golden brown and crispy. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165°F (74°C).
Serve:
Allow the dish to rest for a few minutes before serving. This will help the sauce thicken and make serving easier.
