Chicken with Buttered Noodles Recipe

Ingredients:
For the Chicken:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
For the Buttered Noodles:
12 oz egg noodles
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:
Cook the Noodles:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Chicken:
Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder on both sides.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce reduces slightly.
Prepare the Buttered Noodles:
In a separate large skillet or pot, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
Add the cooked egg noodles to the skillet and toss to coat in the butter and garlic. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve:
Slice the cooked chicken breasts and place them over the buttered noodles. Drizzle the lemon-butter sauce over the top.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
