Creamy BLT Dip
Ingredients:
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (about 8 strips)
1 cup diced tomatoes, seeds removed
1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
Prepare the Base:
In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise and sour cream. Mix until smooth and well blended.
Add Cheese and Bacon:
Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon until evenly distributed.
Mix in Vegetables and Seasonings:
Gently fold in the diced tomatoes, chopped green onions, minced garlic, dried basil, and dried oregano. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Chill:
Cover the dip with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
Serve:
Transfer the dip to a serving dish and garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired. Serve with your choice of dippers such as tortilla chips, pita chips, or sliced vegetables.
