Pasta Frola with Oil (Pasta Frola con Aceite)

Ingredients:
2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (100g) sugar
1/2 cup (120ml) vegetable oil
1/4 cup (60ml) milk
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large egg
1/2 cup (150g) quince paste (dulce de membrillo), or your choice of jam

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch (23cm) round tart pan.
2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and baking powder.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, milk, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.
5. Divide the dough into two portions. Press one portion of the dough into the bottom and up the sides of the prepared tart pan to form the crust.
6. Spread the quince paste or jam evenly over the dough in the tart pan.
7. Roll out the remaining dough and cut it into strips. Arrange the strips in a lattice pattern over the filling.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
9. Remove from the oven and allow the tart to cool completely before slicing and serving.
