Pizza Monkey Bread

Pizza Monkey Bread

Ingredients:
2 cans (16.3 oz each) refrigerated biscuit dough
1 cup pizza sauce
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup mini pepperoni or sliced pepperoni
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil

Directions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan or a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Prepare Biscuit Dough:
Open the biscuit dough cans and cut each biscuit into quarters. You should end up with about 64 small pieces of dough.
Mix Pizza Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine the cut biscuit pieces, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, mini pepperoni, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Toss to coat the biscuit pieces evenly with the cheese and pepperoni.
Prepare Butter Mixture:
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, oregano, and basil.
Assemble Monkey Bread:
Layer the biscuit mixture in the prepared bundt pan, drizzling a little of the butter mixture over each layer. Continue layering until all the biscuit pieces are in the pan.
Add Remaining Cheese:
Sprinkle the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the monkey bread.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the biscuits are cooked through. The cheese should be bubbly and slightly browned.
Cool and Serve:
Let the monkey bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before inverting it onto a serving plate. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
