Raspberry Cream Cheese Bites
Ingredients:
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup fresh raspberries (or you can use raspberry preserves)
1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture: In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
Prepare the Crescent Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
Assemble the Bites: Place a small spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each crescent triangle. Top with a couple of raspberries or a small spoonful of raspberry preserves.
Fold and Seal: Gently fold the edges of the crescent dough over the filling, forming a small bundle or a pocket. Pinch the edges to seal.
Bake: Arrange the filled crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crescents are golden brown.
Cool and Serve: Let the bites cool for a few minutes before serving. You can dust them with a bit more powdered sugar if desired.
Enjoy these sweet and creamy bites!
