Lemon Cheesecake Crescent Rolls

Ingredients:
1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon lemon zest
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg, beaten (for brushing)
Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into individual triangles.
Spoon a small amount of the cream cheese mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle.
Roll up each triangle starting from the wide end, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush the tops of the rolls with the beaten egg to give them a golden finish.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown.
Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
