Philly Cheesesteak Tortellini Pasta
Ingredients:
1 lb cheese tortellini
1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion, sliced
1 large bell pepper, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Directions:
Cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the onion and bell pepper. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
Return the beef to the skillet. Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer. Let cook for 5 minutes to reduce slightly.
Stir in heavy cream and Italian seasoning. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet and stir to combine. Sprinkle with shredded provolone cheese and cook until melted and bubbly.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
