Bacon Cheeseburger Bombs
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
8 oz cheddar cheese, cubed (about 12 cubes)
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (such as Pillsbury Grands)
1 tablespoon butter, melted (optional, for brushing)
Sesame seeds (optional, for topping)
Instructions:
Cook the Ground Beef:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onions until the beef is browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat if needed.
Season the Beef:
Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add the cooked and crumbled bacon, and mix well. Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly.
Prepare the Dough:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Separate the biscuit dough into individual biscuits and flatten each one slightly with your fingers to form a small circle.
Fill the Dough:
Place a spoonful of the beef and bacon mixture in the center of each flattened biscuit. Top with a cube of cheddar cheese. Fold the dough around the filling, pinching the edges to seal and form a ball.
Bake:
Place the sealed dough balls on a greased baking sheet, seam side down. Brush the tops with melted butter if desired, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake the Bombs:
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuit dough is golden brown and cooked through.
Serve:
Let the Bacon Cheeseburger Bombs cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them with your favorite dipping sauces like ketchup, mustard, or even a special burger sauce.
