Reuben Bake

Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) deli corned beef, sliced
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing
1 can (14 oz) sauerkraut, drained
8 slices Swiss cheese
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp caraway seeds (optional)

Directions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Layer Crescent Roll Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and press half of it into the bottom of the greased baking dish, pressing the seams together to form a solid layer.
Add the Corned Beef: Layer the sliced corned beef evenly over the dough.
Add Sauerkraut and Cheese: Spread the drained sauerkraut over the corned beef, followed by the slices of Swiss cheese.
Add Dressing: Drizzle the Thousand Island dressing over the cheese layer.
Top with Remaining Dough: Place the remaining crescent roll dough on top, pressing it gently to seal the edges.
Brush with Egg: Brush the top of the dough with the beaten egg, and optionally, sprinkle caraway seeds over the top for added flavor.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Slice and Serve: Let the Reuben bake cool for a few minutes before slicing into squares and serving.
