Pillsbury Crescent Roll Taco Bake
Ingredients:
1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning mix
1/2 cup water
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 cup salsa (optional)
1/2 cup sour cream (optional)
Chopped lettuce, tomatoes, and jalapeños (optional for topping)
Directions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook Ground Beef: In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat, then add the taco seasoning mix and water. Simmer for 5 minutes until the beef is well-coated in the seasoning and thickened.
Assemble Crescent Rolls: Unroll the Pillsbury Crescent Roll dough and press it into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, making sure to cover the bottom completely. Pinch any seams together to form a solid crust.
Add Beef and Cheese: Spread the seasoned beef evenly over the crescent roll dough. Top with shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.
Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve: Let the taco bake cool for a few minutes before cutting into squares. Serve with salsa, sour cream, chopped lettuce, tomatoes, and jalapeños if desired.
