Crockpot Hot Dog Chili
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tbsp yellow mustard
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Brown the Beef: In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until fully browned. Drain excess fat.
Transfer to Crockpot: Add the browned beef to your crockpot. Stir in the chopped onions, tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Slow Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, stirring occasionally to ensure everything blends well and the flavors develop.
Adjust Seasoning: Taste the chili and adjust seasoning as needed. You can add more chili powder or brown sugar based on your preference.
Serve: Once ready, serve the chili on top of hot dogs with your favorite toppings like shredded cheese, chopped onions, or pickles.
