Stuffed Mushroom Dip Delight

Ingredients:
1 lb mushrooms, finely chopped (button or cremini)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup sour cream
½ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, finely diced
2 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp dried thyme
½ tsp dried oregano
¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
¼ cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:
Sauté Mushrooms and Onions: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute. Add the finely chopped mushrooms and cook for 6-8 minutes until most of the moisture evaporates. Season with thyme, oregano, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.
Prepare the Dip Mixture: In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese. Stir in the cooked mushroom mixture until well combined.
Bake: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread the dip mixture evenly into a baking dish. If desired, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for added crunch. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the top is golden and the dip is bubbly.
Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let the dip cool slightly. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm with crackers, toasted bread, or veggies.
