Crack Chicken Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls
Ingredients:
12 Hawaiian rolls
2 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie works great)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
1/4 cup ranch dressing
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Directions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Prepare the Filling:
In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
Fold in the shredded chicken and crumbled bacon until the mixture is fully combined.
Assemble the Sliders:
Without separating the Hawaiian rolls, slice them in half horizontally to create a top and bottom layer. Place the bottom layer of the rolls in the prepared baking dish.
Spread the crack chicken mixture evenly over the bottom layer of rolls, ensuring each roll is covered.
Place the top half of the rolls on top.
Brush with Butter:
Brush the melted butter over the tops of the rolls. If desired, sprinkle chopped parsley over the top for garnish.
Bake:
Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes.
Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 5-7 minutes until the tops are golden brown and crispy.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Use a knife to cut the sliders along the pre-made cuts of the Hawaiian rolls, and serve warm.
