Crockpot Chicken & Gravy

Crockpot Chicken & Gravy

Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 packets chicken gravy mix
1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
1/4 cup sour cream (optional, for creamier gravy)
Mashed potatoes or rice (for serving)
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Directions:
Prepare the Chicken:
Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your crockpot. Season them with garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and paprika.
Mix the Gravy:
In a bowl, whisk together the chicken gravy packets, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth until smooth and well combined.
Cook in the Crockpot:
Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken breasts in the crockpot, ensuring they are fully covered. Cover with the lid and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
Shred the Chicken:
Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the crockpot and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot and stir it into the gravy.
Optional Creamy Addition:
If you want a creamier gravy, stir in 1/4 cup sour cream and mix well.
Serve:
Serve the chicken and gravy over mashed potatoes, rice, or biscuits. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired.
