Crockpot Cheeseburgers Recipe
Ingredients:
2 pounds ground beef
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup mustard
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
8 hamburger buns
Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, additional condiments
Instructions:
Brown the Beef:
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
Prepare the Crockpot:
Transfer the browned ground beef to the slow cooker. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
Cook:
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the flavors are well combined and the mixture is hot.
Add the Cheese:
About 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture in the slow cooker. Cover and cook until the cheese is melted.
Assemble the Cheeseburgers:
Serve the cheesy beef mixture on hamburger buns with your favorite toppings.
