Easy Garlic Cheese Bombs
Ingredients:
1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
8 mozzarella cheese sticks (or 1 cup shredded mozzarella)
3 tablespoons butter (melted)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Prepare the Biscuits:
Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands to create a disk.
Add the Cheese:
Place a piece of mozzarella cheese (either a 1-inch cube or part of a cheese stick) in the center of each biscuit. Fold the dough around the cheese, pinching the seams to seal it tightly, creating a small ball.
Place on Baking Sheet:
Arrange the sealed cheese bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, making sure to leave space between them for expansion.
Prepare Garlic Butter:
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Brush and Bake:
Brush the tops of the cheese bombs with the garlic butter mixture. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and puffy.
Add Final Touches:
After removing the bombs from the oven, brush them with any remaining garlic butter and sprinkle with grated Parmesan and fresh parsley.
Serve Warm:
Let them cool slightly, then serve warm while the cheese inside is still melty and gooey.
