Sweetened Condensed Milk Snowball Cookies
Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
1/2 cup powdered sugar (plus extra for rolling)
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans, optional)
1/4 tsp salt
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
Add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, salt, and chopped nuts (if using).
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. The dough will be soft.
Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, form small balls of dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cookies are set and just starting to turn golden on the bottom.
Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes.
While the cookies are still warm, roll them in powdered sugar to coat. Place them on a wire rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, you can roll them in powdered sugar again for an extra sweet finish.
These Sweetened Condensed Milk Snowball Cookies are buttery, rich, and perfect for holiday gatherings or as a sweet treat any time of year! Enjoy!
