Grilled Cheeseburger Wraps
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons mustard
4 large flour tortillas
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
1/2 cup pickles, chopped (optional)
1/4 cup mayonnaise (optional)
1 tablespoon butter (for grilling)
Directions:
Prepare the Ground Beef:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and cook until soft, about 2-3 minutes.
Add the ground beef, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Cook the beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, until browned and fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes.
Drain excess fat, then stir in the ketchup and mustard. Cook for another minute, allowing the flavors to blend. Remove from heat and set aside.
Assemble the Wraps:
Lay out the tortillas and spread mayonnaise (if using) on each one.
Evenly distribute the cooked ground beef mixture onto each tortilla. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese, followed by shredded lettuce and chopped pickles (optional).
Fold the Wraps:
Fold the sides of each tortilla inward, then roll it tightly like a burrito to enclose the filling.
Grill the Wraps:
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Melt a little butter in the skillet.
Place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
Serve:
Remove from the skillet and slice each wrap in half. Serve hot, with extra ketchup or dipping sauce on the side.
