Ingredients:
For the Filling:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound ground chicken
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 onion, diced
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
1 tablespoon Sriracha (optional, for heat)
1 can (8 ounces) water chestnuts, drained and diced
2 green onions, thinly sliced
Salt and pepper, to taste
For Serving:
1 head butter or iceberg lettuce, separated into leaves

Instructions:
1. Cook the Chicken:
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground chicken and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
2. Add Aromatics and Sauce:
Stir in the garlic and onion. Cook until the onions are translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
Add the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, and Sriracha (if using). Stir until well combined, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
3. Add Water Chestnuts and Green Onions:
Stir in the water chestnuts and green onions. Cook until just heated through, about 1-2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
4. Assemble the Wraps:
Spoon the chicken mixture into the center of a lettuce leaf, wrapping it up like a taco.
5. Serve:
Enjoy the lettuce wraps warm, with extra Sriracha or soy sauce on the side for dipping.
