Easy Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Puffs
Ingredients:
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup sliced pepperoni (or mini pepperoni)
1/4 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Cooking spray or olive oil (for greasing)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
Prepare the dough:
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
Assemble the pizza puffs:
On each triangle of dough, place about 1 tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese, a few slices of pepperoni, and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese if using.
Fold the dough over the filling to create a pocket and press the edges to seal tightly. You can also pinch the corners to ensure they don’t open while baking.
Bake:
Place the filled puffs on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
