Ingredients:
1 lb breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups Bisquick mix (or other all-purpose baking mix)
1/2 cup milk
2 large eggs
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional, for garnish)

Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line it with muffin liners.
Cook the Sausage:
In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain any excess grease and set the sausage aside to cool slightly.
Mix the Dry Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Bisquick mix, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Stir until well blended.
Prepare the Batter:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Fold in the Sausage and Cheese:
Gently fold the cooked sausage and shredded cheddar cheese into the batter until evenly distributed.
Fill the Muffin Tin:
Scoop the batter into the prepared muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.
Bake the Muffins:
Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Serve:
Let the muffins cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve warm, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.
