Buffalo Wing Sauce
Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
1 tbsp white vinegar
1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
Salt (to taste)
Instructions:
Melt the butter:
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Be careful not to let it brown.
Add the remaining ingredients:
Once the butter is melted, whisk in the hot sauce, white vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, cayenne pepper (if using), and a pinch of salt. Stir until well combined.
Simmer the sauce:
Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally. This allows the flavors to meld together.
Adjust seasoning:
Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning if needed. Add more hot sauce for extra heat, or more butter if you prefer a milder flavor.
Toss with wings or serve:
Remove from heat and toss immediately with cooked chicken wings, or use as a dipping sauce for wings, tenders, or veggies.
