Garlic Parmesan Roasted Brussel Sprouts
Ingredients:
1 ½ lbs Brussels sprouts (trimmed and halved)
3 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic (minced)
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a bit of heat)
Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prepare the Brussels Sprouts:
Wash the Brussels sprouts, trim the ends, and slice them in half.
Pat them dry to ensure they roast properly.
Season the Brussels Sprouts:
In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
Add the Parmesan cheese and toss everything together until the Brussels sprouts are well-coated.
Roast the Brussels Sprouts:
Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a large baking sheet, making sure they are not too crowded (this will help them crisp up).
Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside.
Garnish and Serve:
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with additional Parmesan if desired.
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
