Cheesy Bacon Ranch Potato Foil Packets 🧀🥓
A cheesy, smoky, ranch-packed side dish or meal in a convenient foil packet!
Ingredients:
4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
1/4 cup Ranch dressing
Salt and pepper to taste
Heavy-duty aluminum foil
Instructions:
Prep the foil:
Tear 4 large sheets of aluminum foil (about 12–14 inches each). Spray with non-stick cooking spray or brush with olive oil.
Assemble the packets:
Divide the thinly sliced potatoes evenly among the foil sheets. Season with salt and pepper. Drizzle Ranch dressing over the top, then sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
Seal the packets:
Fold the foil over the potatoes and crimp the edges to seal tightly, creating a packet. Leave a little room inside for steam to circulate.
Cook:
Grill: Place packets on a preheated grill over medium heat and cook for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Oven: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 25–30 minutes on a baking sheet.
Check doneness:
Carefully open one packet (watch the steam!) and check if potatoes are fork-tender.
Serve:
Serve hot straight from the packet, or plate them with a sprinkle of fresh parsley or extra cheese if you like.
