Ingredients:
For the chicken:

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

2 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp chili powder (optional)

For the garlic butter sauce:

4 tbsp unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp honey

1/4 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)

Directions:
Cook the Chicken:

Season the chicken breasts or thighs with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder (if using).

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side (or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F).

Remove from the skillet, let rest for a few minutes, and then shred the chicken using two forks.

Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Stir in honey and BBQ sauce, mixing well to combine. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly.

Combine Chicken and Sauce:

Add the shredded chicken back into the skillet with the garlic butter honey BBQ sauce.

Toss the chicken in the sauce until well coated and heated through.

Assemble the Tacos:

Warm your taco shells (soft or crispy, your choice).

Spoon the garlic butter honey BBQ chicken mixture into each taco shell.

Add your favorite taco toppings such as shredded lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, cilantro, or sour cream.
