📝 Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts

  • 1 cup buttermilk

  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1½ tbsp Chef Bae All-Purpose Seasoning

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • Oil, for frying

For the Creamy Gravy

  • 2 tbsp pan drippings or butter

  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour

  • 1½ cups whole milk

  • 1 tsp Chef Bae All-Purpose Seasoning

  • Black pepper, to taste


🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the Chicken

  • Slice each chicken breast horizontally to create 4 thinner cutlets.

  • Place chicken in a bowl and cover with buttermilk.

  • Marinate at least 30 minutes (up to overnight for max tenderness).

2️⃣ Season the Flour

  • In a shallow dish, mix flour, Chef Bae All-Purpose Seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.

3️⃣ Bread the Chicken

  • Remove chicken from buttermilk, letting excess drip off.

  • Dredge thoroughly in seasoned flour, pressing to adhere.

  • For extra crunch, dip back into buttermilk and flour again.

4️⃣ Fry to Golden Perfection

  • Heat oil in a heavy skillet to 350°F (175°C).
