🍽️🥩 Liver & Onions with Rich Brown Gravy
Tender beef liver, sweet caramelized onions, and savory gravy — hearty, nostalgic, and deeply satisfying.
📝 Ingredients

1 lb beef liver, sliced

1 large onion, thinly sliced

1½ tbsp Chef Bae All-Purpose Seasoning

½ cup all-purpose flour
-
2 tbsp oil or butter (or a mix of both)

1½ cups beef broth
-
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
-
Black pepper, to taste
🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prep the Liver

Rinse liver slices and pat completely dry with paper towels.

Season lightly with black pepper.

Dredge liver in flour, shaking off excess. (Reserve remaining flour.)
2️⃣ Caramelize the Onions

Heat 1 tbsp oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add sliced onions and cook 10–12 minutes, stirring often, until soft, golden, and sweet.

Remove onions from skillet and set aside.
3️⃣ Cook the Liver

Add remaining oil/butter to the same skillet.

Increase heat to medium-high.

Add liver slices in a single layer (work in batches if needed).

Cook 1½–2 minutes per side only until browned but still tender.

Remove liver and set aside with onions.
4️⃣ Make the Gravy

Lower heat to medium.

Sprinkle 1–2 tbsp of reserved flour into the pan drippings and whisk.

Slowly pour in beef broth while whisking to avoid lumps.

Stir in Worcestershire sauce and Chef Bae All-Purpose Seasoning.

Simmer 3–5 minutes until thick and glossy.
