📝 Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef stew meat (chuck), cut into chunks

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 1 large onion, chopped

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3 large potatoes, peeled & chunked

  • 3 carrots, peeled & diced

  • ½ cup green peas

  • 4 cups beef broth

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 2½ tsp Chef Bae All-Purpose Seasoning, divided

  • 1 tsp Chef Bae Garlic Butter Seasoning

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 2 tbsp flour (for thickening)

  • 3 cups cooked white rice

🍳 Instructions

  1. Brown the Beef
Heat oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
Season beef with 1½ tsp Chef Bae All-Purpose Seasoning.
Add beef in batches and sear until deeply browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.

  2. Build the Flavor Base
In the same pot, add chopped onion and sauté 3–4 minutes until softened.
Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.

  3. Create the Stew Base
Add tomato paste and cook 1 minute to deepen flavor.
Sprinkle in flour and stir well to coat the onions (this thickens the stew).

  4. Simmer Low & Slow
Slowly pour in beef broth while stirring to avoid lumps.
Add Worcestershire sauce, paprika, black pepper, remaining 1 tsp All-Purpose Seasoning, and Garlic Butter Seasoning.
    Return beef to the pot.

  5. Add Veggies & Cook
Add potatoes and carrots. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to low.
Cover and simmer for 1½–2 hours, stirring occasionally, until beef is fork-tender.

  6. Finish Strong
Stir in green peas during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

  7. Serve
Spoon hot stew generously over fluffy white rice and enjoy 😋🍚
