Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage

  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots

  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 6 large eggs

  • ½ cup milk

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • Optional garnish: chopped green onions or parsley


Directions

  1. Preheat Oven
    Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  2. Cook the Sausage
    In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and fully cooked. Break into crumbles and drain excess grease.

  3. Layer the Casserole
    Spread cooked sausage evenly in the baking dish. Arrange frozen tater tots on top in an even layer. Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella over the tots.

  4. Make the Egg Mixture
    In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  5. Assemble
    Pour egg mixture evenly over the casserole.

  6. Bake
    Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, until eggs are set, cheese is melted, and tater tots are golden brown.
