Ingredients

1 package (10 oz) frozen peas

1 Tbsp butter

¼ cup heavy cream (or whole milk)

¼ tsp salt (adjust to taste)

¼ tsp black pepper

Optional: pinch of sugar (enhances sweetness)

Optional garnish: chopped parsley or chives
Directions

Cook the Peas
Add frozen peas to a saucepan with a small amount of water. Bring to a gentle boil and cook for 3–4 minutes until tender. Drain well. -
Make Them Creamy
Return peas to the saucepan over low heat. Add butter and stir until melted. -
Add Cream & Seasoning
Pour in heavy cream, season with salt and pepper, and add a pinch of sugar if desired. Stir gently and simmer 2–3 minutes until warmed through and creamy. -
Serve
Remove from heat and garnish with fresh herbs if using. Serve warm.
