1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined (tails on optional)

4 Tbsp unsalted butter

3 Tbsp olive oil

4 cloves garlic, finely minced

1 tsp lemon zest

2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice

1 tsp Italian seasoning

½ tsp dried oregano
-
½ tsp black pepper

¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt, to taste

2 Tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

Fresh sage leaves (optional, for garnish)

Lemon wedges, for serving

Prep the Shrimp
Pat shrimp dry with paper towels. Season lightly with salt and black pepper. -
Heat the Garlic Butter Oil
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter with olive oil until shimmering. Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds until fragrant (do not brown). -
Cook the Shrimp
Add shrimp in a single layer. Cook 2–3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque. -
Add Lemon & Herbs
Stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Spoon the garlic butter oil over the shrimp as it finishes cooking. -
Finish & Garnish
Remove from heat. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and garnish with sage leaves if using. -
Serve
Serve immediately with lemon wedges for extra brightness.
