This Creamy Beef and Bowtie Pasta is a hearty, comforting dish packed with tender ground beef, savory onions, garlic, and a rich, cheesy sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners, it’s simple, creamy, and ready in under 30 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • ½ medium onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3 cups beef broth

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 2 cups bowtie pasta (farfalle)

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese of choice)

  • 1 tsp paprika (optional, for added flavor)

Optional Garnish

  • Fresh parsley, chopped

  • Extra shredded cheese

Directions

  1. Cook the Ground Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika if using. Drain excess fat.

  2. Sauté Onions and Garlic
Add diced onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3–4 minutes. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  3. Add Liquids
Pour in beef broth and heavy cream. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

  4. Cook the Pasta
Add bowtie pasta to the skillet. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed (about 10–12 minutes).

  5. Add Cheese
Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.

  6. Serve
Plate immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and extra cheese if desired.
