½ cup teriyaki sauce

1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar

Directions

In a bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, and honey (or brown sugar) until well combined.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until lightly browned on all sides.

Stir in garlic, ginger, bell pepper, and pineapple if using, and cook for 2–3 minutes.

Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and stir to coat evenly.

Reduce heat to low and simmer for 8–10 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce thickens.
