🍽️ Directions
1️⃣ Marinate the Chicken
In a medium bowl, combine chicken strips with teriyaki sauce, garlic, honey, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Let it marinate 15–20 minutes while you prep the salsa.
2️⃣ Make the Pineapple-Pear Salsa
In a bowl, combine diced pineapple, pear, red onion, jalapeño, lime juice, cilantro, salt, and pepper.
Mix gently and set aside to allow flavors to meld.
3️⃣ Heat the Grill or Skillet
Preheat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
Brush lightly with oil to prevent sticking.
4️⃣ Cook the Chicken
Add marinated chicken strips to the hot pan.
Cook 4–5 minutes per side, or until chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
Remove from heat and let rest briefly.
5️⃣ Warm the Tortillas
Warm tortillas on the grill or in a skillet for 30–60 seconds per side until soft and slightly charred.
Keep them wrapped in a clean towel to stay warm.
6️⃣ Assemble the Tacos
Place chicken strips on each tortilla.
Top with pineapple-pear salsa and optional shredded cabbage or avocado.
7️⃣ Serve & Garnish
Add lime wedges on the side for squeezing.
Serve immediately while warm for a bright, fresh taco experience.
