Gooey Brownie Pie

Gooey Brownie Pie

Fudgy center, crackly top, and pure chocolate bliss

Description

This Gooey Brownie Pie is what happens when a classic brownie and a pie collide in the best possible way. It has crisp edges, a soft, fudgy middle, and a glossy, crackly top that sinks slightly when you slice into it. It’s simple to make, wildly chocolatey, and perfect for when you want a dessert that feels indulgent without being complicated.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour

  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

  • Optional: ½ cup chocolate chips or chunks

Directions

1️⃣ Preheat & Prep

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or line with parchment paper.

2️⃣ Mix the Wet Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and glossy. Add eggs and vanilla and whisk until fully combined.

3️⃣ Add the Dry Ingredients

Sift in flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Fold gently until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips if using.

4️⃣ Bake

Pour batter into prepared pie dish and smooth the top. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until edges are set and the center is slightly soft.

5️⃣ Cool Slightly & Serve

Let cool for 10–15 minutes before slicing for maximum gooeyness.
