📝 Ingredients

Cheesecake Filling

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened

  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Strawberry Filling

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thicker filling)

Pastry

  • 1 package puff pastry sheets (thawed if frozen)

  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

🍽️ Directions

1️⃣ Prepare the Strawberry Filling

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine chopped strawberries, sugar, and cornstarch. Cook for 3–5 minutes until strawberries soften and the mixture thickens slightly. Remove from heat and let cool.

2️⃣ Make the Cheesecake Filling

In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

3️⃣ Assemble the Turnovers

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Roll out puff pastry sheets and cut into 4–6 squares (depending on desired size).

  3. Spoon 1–2 tablespoons of cheesecake filling onto each square, then add 1 tablespoon of strawberry filling on top.

  4. Fold pastry over to form a triangle and press edges with a fork to seal.

4️⃣ Egg Wash & Bake

Brush each turnover with beaten egg to get a golden finish.
Bake for 15–18 minutes, until puffed and golden brown.

5️⃣ Serve

Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar if desired. Serve warm for the best experience.
