Ingredients
-
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
-
1 cup cooked chicken, diced
-
¼ cup teriyaki sauce
-
½ cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar-jack cheese
-
2 green onions, thinly sliced
-
1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
-
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Directions
1️⃣ Preheat & Prep
Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Lightly flour your surface and roll out puff pastry just enough to smooth seams. Cut into 9–12 equal squares.
2️⃣ Make the Filling
In a bowl, toss diced chicken with teriyaki sauce, green onions, and cheese until well coated.
3️⃣ Assemble the Bites
Spoon 1 tablespoon of filling into the center of each pastry square. Fold corners up or bring edges together to form little bundles. Pinch seams gently to seal.
Place bites seam-side up on the baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds if using.
4️⃣ Bake
Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
5️⃣ Serve
Let cool slightly and serve warm. Optional: drizzle with extra teriyaki sauce before serving.
