When you want a dish that feels luxurious without being complicated, Lobster Alfredo Pasta delivers every time. Tender lobster tails are bathed in garlic butter and served over silky fettuccine coated in a creamy Parmesan Alfredo sauce. It’s elegant enough for date night or celebrations, yet surprisingly easy to make at home.


🛒 Ingredients

For the Lobster:

  • 2 lobster tails

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

For the Alfredo Sauce:

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream

  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • Pinch of nutmeg (optional, but recommended)

Optional Add-Ins:

  • Red pepper flakes for heat

  • Splash of white wine

  • Lemon zest for brightness


🍽️ How to Make Lobster Alfredo Pasta

1️⃣ Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook fettuccine until al dente according to package instructions. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.


2️⃣ Prepare the Lobster

Using kitchen shears, carefully cut the lobster shells lengthwise and gently pull the meat up to rest on top of the shell.

Season with paprika, salt, and pepper.

In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add lobster tails meat-side down and cook for 3–4 minutes. Flip and cook another 2–3 minutes until opaque and tender. Remove from heat and set aside.


3️⃣ Make the Alfredo Sauce

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook just until fragrant.

Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Whisk until smooth and creamy.


4️⃣ Combine Pasta & Sauce

Add cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat evenly. If needed, loosen the sauce with reserved pasta water until silky.


5️⃣ Assemble & Serve

Plate the creamy Alfredo pasta and top with lobster tails. Spoon extra sauce over the lobster and garnish with parsley and a pinch of paprika.

Serve immediately while rich and glossy.
