🍽️ How to Make Garlic Butter Shrimp
1️⃣ Prep the Shrimp
Pat shrimp dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt, pepper, and paprika. Dry shrimp sear better and stay juicy.
2️⃣ Melt the Butter Base
Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Once melted and gently bubbling, add the garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant — don’t let the garlic brown.
3️⃣ Cook the Shrimp
Add shrimp in a single layer. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink, opaque, and lightly golden. Avoid overcrowding to get the best sear.
4️⃣ Finish with Flavor
Add remaining tablespoon of butter and lemon juice. Toss shrimp to coat in the glossy garlic butter sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
5️⃣ Garnish & Serve
Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve immediately while hot and buttery.
