🍽️ How to Make It
1️⃣ Cook the Brown Rice
Prepare brown rice according to package directions. Fluff with a fork and keep warm. This hearty base adds fiber and keeps the bowl filling.
2️⃣ Steam the Broccoli
Steam broccoli for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp and bright green. Toss lightly with olive oil and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
3️⃣ Make the Honey Glaze
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, Dijon (if using), lemon juice, garlic, black pepper, and salt. This glaze brings the perfect balance of sweet and savory.
4️⃣ Sear the Salmon
Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 3–4 minutes until golden and crispy.
Flip salmon, pour the honey glaze into the pan, and cook another 2–3 minutes, spooning the glaze over the salmon until glossy and caramelized.
5️⃣ Assemble the Bowl
Add brown rice to a bowl, top with broccoli, then place the honey-glazed salmon on top. Drizzle with extra pan sauce and add desired toppings.
