Creamy, cheesy, and perfectly indulgent — this shrimp bake is an easy weeknight favorite or an impressive dish for entertaining!
Ingredients

500 g (1 lb) shrimp, peeled & deveined

2 tbsp unsalted butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter option)

½ cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ tsp paprika
-
½ tsp chili flakes (optional, for a subtle heat kick)

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Salt & black pepper, to taste

Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat Oven
Set your oven to 200°C / 400°F. Grease a medium baking dish lightly with butter or non-stick spray.
2️⃣ Cook the Garlic
In a medium skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant — don’t let it brown. This forms the flavor base for the creamy sauce.
3️⃣ Make the Creamy Base
Lower the heat slightly. Add heavy cream and cream cheese, whisking until smooth. Stir in Parmesan, paprika, salt, and pepper. Allow sauce to thicken for 2–3 minutes, stirring constantly.
4️⃣ Assemble the Dish
Place the shrimp evenly in the prepared baking dish. Pour the creamy sauce over the shrimp. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top for that gooey, melty layer.
5️⃣ Bake to Perfection
Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
