👩🍳 How to Make It
1️⃣ Make the Shrimp Patties
-
Chop ⅔ of the shrimp very finely until almost paste-like.
-
Chop the remaining ⅓ into small chunks for texture.
-
In a bowl, mix shrimp with garlic, lemon juice, mayo, mustard, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, and pepper.
-
Form into firm patties (don’t over-pack).
🔥 Cook:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
✔ Crispy outside, juicy inside perfection!
2️⃣ Make the Guacamole
-
Mash avocado in a bowl.
-
Stir in lime juice, red onion, herbs, salt, pepper, and chili flakes if using.
-
Mix until creamy but slightly chunky.
3️⃣ Toast the Buns
Toast buns lightly in the same skillet for extra flavor and crunch.
4️⃣ Assemble the Burgers
-
Spread guacamole on the bottom bun.
-
Add lettuce and tomato.
-
Place hot shrimp patty on top.
-
Add extra guacamole or spicy mayo if desired.
-
Close with the top bun and gently press.
💡 Tips
-
Don’t overcook shrimp patties—they stay juiciest when just cooked through.
-
Chilling patties for 10 minutes helps them hold shape.
-
Brioche buns add the best balance of softness and flavor.
