-
½ lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
-
1 cup baby spinach or bok choy
-
½ red bell pepper, thinly sliced
-
½ cup shredded carrots
-
½ yellow onion, sliced
-
2 tbsp soy sauce
-
1 tbsp oyster sauce
-
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
-
1 tsp sesame oil
-
1 tbsp vegetable oil
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
½ tsp crushed red pepper (optional)
-
Salt & pepper, to taste
👩🍳 Methods / Instructions
1️⃣ Sear the Steak
-
Heat vegetable oil in a hot wok or large skillet.
-
Toss in steak cubes, season lightly with salt and pepper, and sear until browned on all sides.
-
Remove steak and set aside—this locks in juices and creates deep, meaty flavor.
2️⃣ Cook the Shrimp
-
In the same pan, add shrimp.
-
Sauté until just pink and curled, about 2–3 minutes.
-
Remove and set aside with steak.
3️⃣ Stir-Fry the Veggies
-
Add garlic, onion, bell pepper, shredded carrots, and greens to the pan.
-
Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until tender-crisp.
-
Optional: sprinkle in crushed red pepper for heat.
4️⃣ Toss in Noodles and Sauce
-
Add cooked noodles to the pan.
-
Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil.
-
Toss to coat evenly—this is where the noodles soak up all that flavor.
5️⃣ Combine Steak, Shrimp, and Veggies
-
Return steak and shrimp to the pan.
-
Stir well to mix everything and heat through.
-
Adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, or extra soy sauce if needed.
