🧾 Ingredients

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on or off)

1 cup white vinegar

1 cup water

½ cup olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon salt

1 teaspoon sugar (optional, balances acidity)

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning (optional but classic)

1 small onion, thinly sliced

1 lemon, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons fresh dill or parsley, chopped

1️⃣ Cook the Shrimp

Bring a pot of water and vinegar to a gentle boil.

Add shrimp and cook just until pink, about 2–3 minutes.

Drain immediately and rinse with cold water to stop cooking.
