📝 Ingredients (Serves 4)
-
2 cups cooked chicken breast, sliced or shredded
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
-
2 tablespoons butter
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
½ teaspoon onion powder
-
½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
-
Salt and black pepper, to taste
-
1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
-
½ cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
-
¼ cup cream cheese, softened (optional, for extra creaminess)
-
4 large flour tortillas
-
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Garlic Chicken
Heat olive oil and butter together in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 30–40 seconds until fragrant (do not brown).
Add the cooked chicken to the pan along with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss well and cook for 3–5 minutes, allowing the chicken to soak up the buttery garlic flavor.
2️⃣ Make It Cheesy
Lower the heat and stir in the cream cheese (if using) until melted and creamy. Sprinkle in mozzarella and cheddar cheese, stirring gently until the cheese begins to melt and coat the chicken.
Remove from heat once everything is cheesy and well combined.
3️⃣ Assemble the Wraps
Warm tortillas slightly so they’re pliable. Spoon the cheesy garlic chicken mixture into the center of each tortilla.
Fold in the sides, then roll tightly into wraps.
4️⃣ Toast for Extra Flavor (Optional but Recommended)
Wipe the skillet clean and place wraps seam-side down over medium heat. Toast each side for 2–3 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
This step seals the wrap and adds irresistible crunch.
