๐งผโจ DIY Soap & Glycerin Bouncy Ball
Materials
-
1/4 cup liquid soap
-
1/4 cup vegetable-derived glycerin
-
1 tablespoon cornstarch
๐ Directions
1. Prepare Your Workspace
Gather all materials and make sure your surface is clean and dry.
2. Combine Soap and Glycerin
-
Pour 1/4 cup liquid soap into a small mixing bowl.
-
Add 1/4 cup vegetable glycerin.
-
Stir with a spoon until the mixture becomes smooth and well blended.
3. Add Cornstarch Slowly
-
Add the 1 tablespoon cornstarch gradually, mixing as you sprinkle it in.
-
This prevents clumping and helps the mixture thicken evenly.
4. Mix Until Thick
-
Keep stirring until the mixture becomes noticeably thicker and begins holding its shape.
-
It should look glossy, stretchy, and slightly stickyโsimilar to thick gel.
5. Shape Into a Ball
-
Use your hands to scoop up the mixture.
-
Roll and knead it between your palms until it forms a smooth ball.
If it feels too sticky, add a pinch more cornstarch and continue kneading.
6. Let It Set
-
Place your ball on wax paper, parchment, or a clean plate.
-
Allow it to rest for several hours so it can firm up and hold the shape.
7. Test the Bounce
Once fully set, gently drop the ball from a small height to test its bounce!
