Garlic Parmesan Pasta with a Creamy Twist
Ingredients:
8 oz fettuccine or spaghetti
2 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Directions:
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add heavy cream to the pan and bring to a simmer. Let cook for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
Stir in parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Continue to simmer until the sauce becomes creamy.
Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until fully coated.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
